A few practical details to make your appointment or admission as smooth as possible.
Save time at reception: complete your details, GP and specialist information, next of kin, medical aid and upload a photograph before your visit. Your profile is linked directly to your medical record.
Register as a patientRoom 405, Netcare Kuils River Hospital, 33 Van Riebeeck Road, Kuils River, Cape Town. Enter through the main hospital entrance and take the lift to the fourth floor — our rooms are signposted from the lift lobby.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment so reception can complete your registration. A first consultation usually takes 30 to 45 minutes; special investigations may take longer.
Your ID document, medical aid card, referral letter (if you have one), your current medication in the packaging or your latest script, and any previous ECGs, scans or reports from other practitioners. Please fill in and sign the patient agreement form beforehand and bring it to your visit.

Please wear comfortable clothing which will allow a doctor to examine you on the day of your visit. For a stress ECG, wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes and avoid heavy meals and caffeine for a few hours beforehand.
